It rained really hard today & Pastor Tom spoke about parting the Red Sea! He was excited and the children followed him. There was lots of excitement at NKUMC!

Sierra Leone Boutique - The Boutique (Shelves in the narthex) will be closing September 15th. If you are interested in purchasing any of these items, please do so by September 15. Thank you to all that have supported this part of our connection with the Nar Sarah clinic and the people of Kabala, Sierra Leone. Our church will continue to support them through our donations to the Maternity hospital and the NKUMC Women’s regular preparation of the birthing kits.

When we gather for worship, prayer, study, or service, we’re reminded that we don’t walk this journey alone. Together, we strengthen one another and experience Christ’s presence in powerful ways.

John Wesley considered the gathering for reflection, prayer and learning to be a "means of grace"--vital practices we engage in every day in order to deepen our relationship with God, live out the teachings of Christ and allow the Holy Spirit to grant us renewed hope and strength in our spiritual journey.
