On yesterday, we were challenged by Isaiah 55:8–11 to trust God’s thoughts above our own and His ways above our plans. We were reminded that God’s Word is not merely something we hear—it is something we work, believe, apply, and live.

The encouraging truth is that God’s Word does not return void. Every promise, every instruction, every correction, and every declaration He releases is accomplishing His purpose, whether we see immediate results or not.

As we move through this week, let’s remain committed to working the Word in our homes, our decisions, our relationships, and our faith. The outcome belongs to God, but the obedience belongs to us.

Keep sowing. Keep believing. Keep working the Word.

🔥 PENTECOST SUNDAY RECAP 🔥

What a powerful move of God!

We celebrated the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and were reminded that Pentecost was never just about being filled—it was about being filled to build. Through worship, the Word, and the presence of God, we were challenged to become builders of faith, builders of families, builders of communities, and builders of the Kingdom.

As we reflected on Acts 1:8 and Acts 17, one truth echoed throughout the service: God does not fill us for comfort—He fills us for purpose. The same Spirit that empowered the early church is still empowering believers today to impact cities, transform lives, and advance the Gospel.

We left encouraged, equipped, and empowered to build what God has called us to build—for His glory and for the good of others.

Yesterday’s message reminded us that God specializes in breathing life into places we thought were finished. In a valley full of dry bones, God was still birthing purpose, restoring hope, and calling dead things back to life.

This May series, Birthing Purpose, is a reminder that your current season is not your final condition. What looks broken, delayed, empty, or forgotten is still under the power of God’s Word. Speak life. Trust His promise. And watch what Heaven revives.

What a beautiful day celebrating the incredible women of Encouraging Word Church! 💐✨

From powerful worship to heartfelt moments of honor, today was filled with love, gratitude, and appreciation for every mother, grandmother, spiritual mother, and mother figure among us.

A special highlight was our Mother’s Day Brunch, lovingly served by the Men of EWC — thank you for creating such a warm and intentional experience for the women of our church family. 🍽️💙
