Last night, Dan Montana shared a powerful message about being refined like silver.

Silver can become tarnished, bent, scratched, and damaged. But a skilled silversmith doesn't throw it away. Instead, he places it back into the fire—not to destroy it, but to refine it. The heat removes the impurities and restores what was hidden beneath the surface.

The same is true for us.

Life can leave us feeling crushed, broken, and worn down. We all carry scars from trials, disappointments, and seasons we never would have chosen. Yet God never abandons us. He continues the work He started, patiently refining us and shaping us into the image of Christ.

One statement that has stayed with me is this:

"God loved you enough to put you in the fire to mold you into His image."

The fire isn't evidence that God has left you. Sometimes it's evidence that He loves you too much to leave you where you are.

So if you're walking through a difficult season today, don't lose heart. The Refiner sees the finished work. He knows exactly what He's creating, and He promises to be with you every step of the way.

"And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness" — Malachi 3:3

Thankful for a group of young adults hungry for truth and willing to let God work on their hearts.
