I'm looking forward to being with the Erwin family this Friday night in Canton, Texas for their annual camp meeting.

Your phone may be one of the biggest reasons your soul feels restless.

Every notification, every scroll, every video gives your brain a small hit of dopamine. Before long, your mind is trained to crave constant stimulation.

Then you sit down to pray.
You open your Bible.
You try to be still before God.

And suddenly your mind starts wandering.

Why?

Because your soul was created for God’s presence, but your flesh has been conditioned to crave distraction.

Jesus never asked us to carry our burdens alone.

The yoke was never about carrying more. It was about walking with Someone stronger.

Whatever you’re facing today, Jesus is willing to step into it with you. His yoke is easy. His burden is light.

Jesus tore the veil from top to bottom so nothing could stand between us and God.

What a shame it is when we put veils right back up.

Sin, pride, distractions, bitterness, compromise anything we choose over Him becomes a barrier to the relationship He died to give us.

Everybody is tied to something.

Some are tied to comparison.
Some are tied to fear.
Some are tied to expectations.
Some are tied to the nonstop pace of life.

But Jesus offers a different yoke.

“Come unto me… and ye shall find rest unto your souls.”

The question isn’t if you’re tied to something.
The question is: Who are you tied to?
