"God's Fix in 2026" with Pastor David - Fabulously Fantastical Friday Friends IN Christ! In this list of absolutely amazing blessings from God to us IN Christ, it's difficult to place one over the others, but THIS blessing, in verses 13&14, that we now have the One True God living IN us, could just "fit the bill" as the most amazing absolutely amazing blessing of all! At the moment we are saved, by hearing the word of truth and trusting in the gospel of our salvation, God the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ, immediately comes in all His fullness, INTO our spirits, making us IN Christ and Christ IN us sons of God!...and "seals" us as Himself an earnest or "down payment" promising that He WILL finalize and complete the purchase of the "property" He has purchased with the precious blood of Jesus...and that, "unto the praise of His glory!"
Nuff said!

"God's Fix in 2026" with Pastor David - Ephesians 1:10-12 tells us that God Himself will fill, fulfill, and finalize all of His plans and purpose in His time and according to His pleasure, that "He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth--IN Him!" Included is the fact of our inheritance IN Christ, in the "here and now" as well as in all its fullness in all eternity!

Wrap up this week with MORE beneficial blessings of God on us tomorrow at verses 13&14!

"God's Fix in 2026" with Pastor David - It's a Wonderful Wednesday to unload some more beneficial blessings from God to those who are IN Christ! We have been redeemed (purchased and set free by paying a price) by the precious blood of Jesus, AND our sins forgiven (carried away) by the riches of God's grace (v7)!..."which He (God the Father) made to abound toward us in all wisdom and understanding" (v8), and, according to His good pleasure and His own Purpose, has "made known to us the mystery of His will!" As God in Christ has abounded to us all wisdom, who or what could be wiser, and as He has given us the "inside scoop" on the "sacred secrets" of God, what more could we possibly ask for or expect!?...but there's MORE!

"God's Fix 2026" with Pastor David - It's Terrific Tuesday and a "truckload" of God's blessings on us in Ephesians 1:3-6!
We start by giving praise ("blessing") our "God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ"...who has given (blessed) us with (not part, but) ALL the spiritual blessings of Heaven, because of and on account of the fact that we, as "saved saints," are IN Christ! It's true that physically we are "here" and He is "there," AND it's also true that as we are IN Him, spiritually we are also "there"...IN Him! IN Him we have been chosen or elected "before the foundation of the world"... chosen IN Him that we ARE "Holy and blameless BEFORE Him" in position and are to strive to be so in practice! IN Him, we are predestinated (predetermined) that we who are "reborn" into God's family ARE also "adopted" as His adult sons, with immediate access to our inheritance from our Heavenly Father...we, as adopted sons, are heirs like unto God's Only One Begotten Son! It's ALL according to God's good pleasure, God's will, God's grace, and to God's glory, "wherein He hath made us accepted in the beloved"... which means that God's grace ON us will never LEAVE us because it is ours IN the Eternal Beloved Son of God! Woohoo and Praise God!...but there's more!

"God's Fix in 1026" with Pastor David - Magnifilous Monday Morning! Ephesians is "all about" WHO we believers ARE and HOW we believers are to LIVE as WHO we are, in light of the innumerable and immeasurable blessings of God upon us IN Christ! In 1:1 we find the believers in Christ in the church at Ephesus (and you and I, by extension) are considered "saints" as the "faithful in Christ Jesus!" A "saint is a very unique and "set-apart" individual...and all who are saved are saints!... The froofy showy "religions" got it all wrong, you and I, friends who have trusted in Christ Jesus for salvation, we ARE "saints"...the "set apart" ones! Our inheritance of beneficial blessings are "backed" and "driven" by God's own grace and for God's own glory, granting us God's peace in and through our Lord Jesus Christ (v2)!
And that's just the beginning!

"God's Fix in 2026" with Pastor David - Fantabulous Friday Friends! Romans 16:25-27 reminds Godly men and ladies that the Gospel Faith for which we contend, that which we proclaim and obey, is not a "new thing", but God's plan from "before the foundation of the world," unrevealed until infinite God took on mortal flesh, lived the perfect, sinless life, willingly died a substitutionary sacrificial death, and was gloriously bodily raised from the dead! Yeah, you're right...v25-27 doesn't say ALL that, but it DOES reveal that God's plan WAS a mystery (something unknown) that is now (2,000 yrs ago and THIS moment) unveiled and "made known to all the nations for the obedience of faith." Folks, we have the Story to tell to the nations, including every single person we meet today...the Story of God who "so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting
life," and that to the glory of God!

"God's Fix in 2026" with Pastor David - Romans 16:21-24 gives us an interesting list of Paul's companions as he wraps up Jesus' letter to His church at Rome through Apostle Paul by "secretary" and 3rd level servant/slave (societal designation, not Paul's) Tertius (v22)...we have Paul, obviously, along with brother Tertius (already mentioned), the host of the "party" Gaius, the city treasurer Erastus, and brother Quartus, a 4th level slave. Paul's fellow laborer, Timothy, and some of his kinsmen, Lucius, and Jason, and Sosipater "head up the list" of those "with" Paul...quite the mix of social status and position within this "band of brothers" doing the work of God together! And sending regards from the group, Paul blesses those receiving the letter (that includes us) with, "The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen."

Wrap up the Romans letter tomorrow with 16:25-27.

"God's Fix in 2026" with Pastor David - Our Lord Jesus, in John 13:35 said, "By this all men will know that ye are my disciples, if you have love one for another." Soooo, what do people know when we DON'T "have love one for another?"
Romans 16:17-20 gives a little insight to what happens when Christ-followers don't act like Christ, in addition to the smooth-talking false teachers and false behaviors, and a hint of what we're to do about it. From this passage and others in the NT, it's obvious that unity within His church family is a BIG deal to God, so don't be THAT person y'all!

"God's Fix in 2026" with Pastor David -
Verse 3 of Romans 16 follows up the commendation of Phoebe's faithful service with a long list (v3-16) of faithful servants of our Lord Jesus and His local churches, as well as the entire body of Christ. These folks are recognized as true converts to Christ by their behavior, a life of fruitfulness for God, evidenced by Paul's descriptions of their actions and activities. Do true believers in Christ ALWAYS do godly things? Do we FLAWLESSLY display our fruitful condition as faithful servants? NOPE!...but the Spirit of God IN us SHOWS! We have something, more correctly, SOMEONE the world doesn't have, and HE can't be hidden in the lives and behavior and relationships of TRUE Followers...if people can't see Jesus through us, it's most likely because we don't have Jesus in us! Read through the list and see can you imagine YOUR name there...

Romans 16:17-20 tomorrow ...see you then!
