After 14 years of faithful ministry at the Basilica of Saint Mary, the time has come to send our beloved Rector, Fr. James Curran, forth with our love, our prayers, and a proper Saint Mary's send-off.

We have two very special celebrations planned to honor Father Jim:

✨ A formal reception on June 25th
✨ A parish-wide Farewell Tailgate Party on June 28th — his last Sunday at the Basilica

June 19th is Juneteenth - and this year, we're marking it together. The Knights of Peter Claver and Women's Ministry are hosting a Celebration of Freedom on Friday, June 19 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Fellowship, food, fun, and fashion. Come celebrate with us. 🎉

This Pentecost Sunday, May 24th, we gather for one Mass at 10:00 am to celebrate the Holy Spirit's fire falling on the apostles.

Come prepared to encounter that same Spirit moving through our community - the courage, the gifts, the boldness that has carried our faith since 1791. We'll worship together and then break bread in fellowship afterward. 🔥

There’s nothing quite like breaking bread with those who showed up for our neighbors all winter long.

The Urban Renewal Center is hosting a Winter Shelter Volunteer Appreciation Dinner on May 28 at 6 PM at First Presbyterian Church (820 Colonial Ave).

This evening is a chance to celebrate the faithful hands and generous hearts that made the Winter Shelter possible — to share a meal, hear stories, and remember why this work matters.
