Day 1 of the Convergence Conference in North Carolina was nothing short of powerful.

Leaders and delegates from across the Commonwealth District gathered in unity, and the Spirit of God moved in a special way. Worship was passionate, fellowship was strong, and the Word came with power.

When leaders come together in unity, faith rises and strength multiplies. Day 1 reminded us that we truly do it better when we do it together.

We are honored to formally welcome Pastor Douglas Tyson and Lady Marlyn Tyson, along with the Renewed Church family of Clayton, North Carolina, into our district and the VA4th Jurisdiction of churches.

Pastor Tyson and Lady Tyson have demonstrated a deep love for God’s people and a clear commitment to advancing the Gospel in their community. Their leadership, faith, and dedication to building strong believers and healthy ministry make them a tremendous addition to the Commonwealth District.

We are honored to have Renewed Church and the Tysons with us and look forward to all that God will accomplish through this partnership.

Mother Bell represents true steadfastness and faithfulness. She has served consistently, stood strong through every season, and today that faithfulness is being honored.

We also celebrate our friend, Bishop Keith L. Curry, whose pioneering and innovative leadership continues to raise up strong, proven voices for this hour.

What a powerful Church Growth Session with Pastor Pierce and the exceptional leadership team at Divine Deliverance Christian Center, one of the more vibrant churches in our Peninsula Subdistrict!

Through a customized intensive developed and taught by Bishop Fitzgerald, the team engaged three evangelistic approaches complete with clear, practical strategies for real, measurable growth. The focus, unity, and readiness in the room was unmistakable.

Divine Deliverance Christian Center is led by a pastor and leadership team that refuse to remain where they are. They’re preparing for where God is taking them next. The future is bright, and the next level of growth is already in motion.

This Saturday’s gathering of our Spanish speaking pastors reflects our refusal to let language divide what God is joining together.

I’m sincerely grateful for leaders with vision bold enough to reach across cultural lines and hearts large enough to do the work of overcoming the language gap. Even though we don’t always get it right, we can never stop trying! Unity takes intention, leadership, and heart. Thank you, Bishop and Mother Hardy.

Because of that vision, things just got better in The Commonwealth District!

And, mark my words: The future is multilingual.

Leaders, family, and friends gathered to honor Bishop and Mother Hardy for their life of service, sacrifice, and steady leadership.
