Dave reminds us what truly matters in life. đź’Ż

This week's message on God's will for your life starts with CHARACTER—the foundation for everything else. Are you investing in what's eternal or what's temporary?

THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE:

Take an honest inventory of your character this week.

For men: Review the 8 characteristics from 1st Timothy 3. Pick ONE area where you need growth (self-control, faithfulness, managing your family well, etc.) and take one concrete action this week to strengthen that area.

For women: Review the 9 characteristics from Proverbs 31. Pick ONE area where you want to grow (being others-centered, preparing ahead, speaking with wisdom, etc.) and take one concrete action this week to develop that trait.

Remember: God won't show you the next step in your journey until the foundation of your character is in place. Start building today!

"It is not about how long we live, but about how long we live for God and show how many souls we were able to lead to salvation during the life given to us by Him."

This Sunday we heard an incredible testimony of faith under fire. Our guest speaker shared stories of persecution in India and challenged us to live with radical purpose for Christ. You don't want to miss this!

This Sunday: A Message You Won't Want to Miss 🙏

Join us as our beloved missionary partner, Ravi Kokkuripati from India, brings a powerful word on "Suffering for His Name" from Matthew 5:10–12.

Ravi will share: ✨ Why the name of Jesus brings both salvation and persecution ✨ The reality of global persecution facing 380 million Christians today ✨ How we can respond with boldness, not fear ✨ The eternal reward that awaits those who stand firm

For 12 years, we've partnered with Ravi's ministry reaching children, widows, and the vulnerable in India. His heart for the persecuted church will challenge and inspire you.

"Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." — Matthew 5:10

We often think sin will satisfy us, but every promise it makes eventually crumbles. The temporary pleasure, the fleeting success, the momentary escape—none of it lasts. Our spirits are designed for God alone, and there is no substitute that can truly fill what only He can satisfy.

This week's challenge: Identify one area where you've been seeking satisfaction outside of God's will. What "substitute" have you been chasing? Commit to turning back toward Him and letting Him meet that need His way.

What step will you take this week to realign your life with God's will?

Every step we take away from God's Word is a step toward danger. Like Jonah, we sometimes think we know better than God—but running from His will never leads where we think it will.

This week's sermon explores the consequences of disobedience and how our rebellion affects not just us, but everyone around us. Don't miss this powerful message!
