What a powerful Sunday at Catalyst! Dave challenged us to find our true satisfaction in God, not in the endless pursuit of “more.” We celebrated three baptisms—new life in Christ!—and were inspired by stories from the women who experienced the Emmaus Walk. God is moving in our church, teaching us the freedom of contentment and the joy of seeking Him first.

Have you ever had your plans or direction suddenly interrupted? Sometimes, what feels like an unexpected detour is actually God’s grace at work, redirecting us to something better. As Pastor Dave shared this week, “God will interrupt your mission just like He interrupted Saul with His grace.”

God’s interruptions aren’t a setback—they’re an invitation to trust Him with the next step.

Challenge for the Week: This week, look for moments when your plans get disrupted or changed. Instead of getting frustrated, pause and pray: “God, what are You trying to show me or teach me right now?” Be open to His leading—sometimes His greatest work begins with an unexpected interruption.

Good news for churchgoing couples.

America is now in the grip of a “s*x recession,” in which only a minority of adult men and women have s*x at least once a week.

Strikingly, this recession has largely spared churchgoing husbands and wives.

Today, only 48% of those who are not religious have s*x at least weekly, versus 62% of those who are regular churchgoers in that same age group. So, there is a growing religious-secular divide in married s*x—and it favors religious couples.
