In light of Pastor Max's sermon this past Sunday, you might find this video from The Bible Project on the biblical concept of justice helpful:

Why is justice such an important, and sometimes controversial, topic in our world today? What does the Bible have to say about justice?

Our current teaching series is based in the New Testament book of James. It's a letter that packs a punch.

You're not a slave to your job. You're not a slave to the grind. You're not a slave to the endless demands of "more, more, more." The only One you serve is Jesus—and His yoke is easy, His burden is light.

In our latest message, we explored the difference between Pharaoh's crushing system of control and Jesus' invitation to rest. Pharaoh demands without mercy, adds burden upon burden, and treats people as resources. But Jesus? He shares the load, leads with love, and walks alongside you in the yoke.

Matthew 11:29 reminds us: "Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls." It's time to own your side of the street, set boundaries, and resist the system that says you're only valuable for what you produce.

Team America needs more Jesus-focused followers who refuse to be crushed by Pharaoh's demands. You're free in Christ—live like it.

"Eschatology" is really just a fancy word to describe what Christians believe about the afterlife - heaven & hell - judgment - and the return of Jesus Christ.

What comes to mind when you think of heaven? Is it a giant stadium where thousands and thousands of people wearing white robes are singing their hearts out to Jesus (sitting on a golden throne in the middle of it all)? If that's you, you're not alone. But THAT picture of heaven isn't exactly the who...

Sunday's message is online and available in the app. With Max Vanderpool.

There are two extreme perspectives about work in America today: (1) work hard and hustle and show up early and razzle and dazzle so that you can climb the ladder and reap the rewards - and retire like a king or queen, and (2) work ONLY as much as you have to and only do what is minimally required an...
