God's Promise: When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.

Now notice God does not say he will deliver you from these troubles or keep them from happening to you...He promises to be with you and keep you unharmed from what would certainly end you - because he loves you.
