Sometimes we feel distant from God—not because He has moved, but because life, distraction, or struggle makes it hard to notice His presence. But Scripture reminds us that He is not far off or unreachable. He is near, present, and actively working even in the moments we don’t understand.

This ties into our current series in Romans, where we’re exploring what it means to live by faith, to be made right with God, and to walk in the reality of His grace every day. Romans shows us again and again that God is not distant—He is pursuing, sustaining, and transforming His people.

This Memorial Day, we remember and honor the courageous men and women who laid down their lives in service to our nation. We are grateful for their sacrifice, their bravery, and the freedoms we enjoy because of them.

As we gather with family and friends today, may we also pause to pray for the families of the fallen, for our military members, and for our country.

This Sunday at church, we’re walking through the book of Romans — a powerful reminder that the Gospel changes everything.

Romans speaks to the weary, the searching, the broken, the hopeful, and the everyday person trying to figure out life and faith. It reminds us that God’s grace is bigger than our past, His mercy is new every morning, and real hope is found in Christ.

No matter where you’ve been or where you are in your journey, there’s a place for you here. Come grow with us, ask questions, worship together, and be encouraged by God’s Word.
