Pastor Lynwood remains in rehab as he continues recovering from his stroke. The stroke has affected his left side, and he is currently undergoing intensive therapy. He is expected to remain in therapy for at least another 30 days. At the end of that time, he will evaluate his progress and prayerfully make some decisions concerning what the future holds.

During this time, we also want you to know that the ministry and work of Hilton Baptist Church will continue. If you have a need, please do not hesitate to reach out. The Vision Team is available to help in any way possible, and you may contact the church office or any member of the Vision Team.

We ask each of you to continue faithfully supporting the church just as you have been. The work of the church will not stop. There are still people to love, needs to meet, prayers to pray, and a community that needs to hear about Jesus. We will continue moving forward together, trusting the Lord to lead and strengthen us each step of the way.

Good morning HBC family. What a night we had last night at the community dinner! A big thank you to Pam who had to pivot at the last minute. Thank you Will, Jimmy and Brenda for all the hands on effort in cooking whole chickens, shredding the chicken for the casseroles, prepping and cooking. We served 122 dinners 😃😃

Serve The City was in the house! Thank you Kathy for keeping everyone on track. It’s so good to see the college support we get from HU and CNU. Spence and Logan, the greatest outdoor grocery loaders on the planet 🌎😃.

The pantry team delivered as always. We are constantly trying to improve to create a pleasurable, efficient shopping experience. This is an ever evolving process for sure. We were short a few ‘pantry princesses’ but we pulled it off!

The week of community dinner is more work than many realize but it is so rewarding to see so many of our neighbors go home with a full tummy, a load of groceries and a happy heart.

Thank you to everyone who was able to support us. Whew! What a week ♥️

Good morning HBC family and friends. Just a very quick update on Pastor Lynwood. He has completed a week of rehab and will remain there for another week. He’s working extremely hard and appreciates all of our prayers ♥️

Good morning HBC family. Here’s an update on our dear Pastor. Pastor Lynwood moved to rehab yesterday. It's an intensive therapy program for speech improvement, occupational and physical therapy. His days are packed with therapy. Visiting hours are extremely limited and he has requested no visitors so he can focus on restoring his body. He appreciates all the love and prayers as he starts this therapy program. You can either mail cards to his house, the church or drop off in person and Dreama will be sure the cards get delivered.

A lot of church business is falling on Dreama while Lynwood is out. She is enjoying a day off today. Please only call the church with emergencies so she can spend some time with family today as they cheer on the Miami Dolphins 🐬 ♥️
