I'm sorry to announce that the forecast has not cooperated. Though it looks like the rain will move out by tomorrow night, the field will most likely be too soggy to enjoy our campout. I will search the calendar for a reschedule date (likely in the fall). Have a great weekend and stay dry!

I’ve been closely monitoring the weather all week. Things aren’t looking great for our camp out, but I’m holding out hope. If things are still looking like a washout by noon on Thursday, I will unfortunately have to call it off. Stay tuned!

Hey Immanuel Family,

Some big stuff coming up this Sunday so I am posting here to keep you in the loop.

First, if you missed it, this week was Felicia's last week as our church secretary. She has been doing this job forever and while she will still be around the church, we will miss the million jobs she does for us. But we are very excited for her and Bruce as they are both retired. We hope they take lots of vacations and do lots of fun retirement things.

In her honor, we will be having cake and ice cream after church this Sunday the 31st. So, please plan on sticking around, eating some cake and saying nice things to Felicia.

Also, the preschool is moving ahead quickly. We are so close to getting our inspection and license. All we have left is a 900-page checklist of odd jobs. If you can hang out on Sunday after church we would surely appreciate your help. We have some handy man stuff, some cleaning stuff and some organizing stuff. If you can do any of that, we could use you.

I look forward to seeing all of you at church on Sunday where we will finish up the book of 1 Thessalonians.
