On Wednesday, June 3rd Min. Tabitha A Person was ordained at Ivy. She has a passion and conviction to minister to women (inside and outside of Ivy) and she is called to back to the community she was raised to do outreach ministry. She was licensed to preach in 2017 and she currently serves as a Co-Leader of our Leadership Development Ministry. She trains and equips new and existing Ivy leaders with biblical and practical tools to be more effective as a ministry leader.

Newport News Public Schools Family and Community Engagement, NNPS Youth Development, ICO and Stuart Gardens will be launching the first partnership of its kind in the city of Newport News (Schools, faith based organization and a Neighborhood) working together to offer direct services to families in their community (instead of at a school, church, etc)

SAVE THE DATE: We are planning a "Launch" event on Tuesday July 14th 5-8pm in Stuart Gardens. Targeting the entire family (parents, kids, seniors.....everybody!)
