Feed My Sheep Ministry Virginia
“Feed My Sheep”
Newport News, Virginia
Our Biblical Foundation
“He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.”
— John 21:17 (KJV)
Feed My Sheep Ministry Virginia is a Christ-centered ministry founded on the command of Jesus Christ to care for His people, serve the community, proclaim the Gospel, and help lead souls into a deeper relationship with God.
The words of Jesus in John 21:15–17 provide the heart and direction of this ministry. Jesus did not simply tell Peter to preach to His sheep—He instructed him to feed them, care for them, and shepherd them.
That same calling remains relevant today.
Our Mission
Feed My Sheep Ministry Virginia exists to proclaim Jesus Christ, strengthen believers, reach the lost, serve those in need, and help people grow spiritually through the Word of God, prayer, discipleship, and Christian service.
We believe ministry involves the whole person—spiritually, emotionally, relationally, and practically.
Our desire is to meet people where they are, introduce them to Jesus Christ, and encourage them to become everything God has called them to be.
Our Vision
Our vision is to build a ministry that:
* Feeds people spiritually through the Word of God.
* Reaches the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
* Strengthens families through biblical teaching and prayer.
* Develops disciples who live what they believe.
* Serves the community with compassion and humility.
* Equips believers to discover and fulfill their God-given purpose.
* Raises leaders who are committed to serving rather than simply being served.
Our Pastor
Pastor Keith Ingram

Pastor Ingram’s ministry emphasizes biblical teaching, spiritual growth, discipleship, prayer, evangelism, and practical Christian living.
His desire is to help people understand that Christianity is not merely about attending church—it is about having a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ and allowing the Word of God to transform every area of life.
What Does “Feed My Sheep” Mean?
When Jesus told Peter, “Feed my sheep,” He was giving him a responsibility.
To feed God’s sheep means to:
Teach them the Word.
People need truth that will sustain them when life becomes difficult.
Encourage them.
Sometimes people need someone to remind them that God has not forgotten them.
Pray for them.
The shepherd’s responsibility includes standing in the gap for God’s people.
Correct them in love.
Biblical shepherding involves both encouragement and spiritual correction.
Care for them.
Jesus calls His people to demonstrate His love through practical service.
Lead them to Christ.
The ultimate purpose is not to create followers of a personality or organization, but disciples of Jesus Christ.
Our Commitment
Feed My Sheep Ministry Virginia is committed to remaining centered on Jesus Christ and the Word of God.
We believe:
Jesus saves.
Jesus heals.
Jesus delivers.
Jesus restores.
Jesus transforms lives.
Our responsibility is to faithfully proclaim His message and serve His people.
Our Ministry Philosophy
We believe that the church should not only be a place where people come to receive—it should be a place where people are equipped to go and serve.
A fed sheep should become a fruitful sheep.
A disciple should become a disciple-maker.
A person who has experienced God’s grace should become a vessel through which God’s grace reaches others.
Therefore, our prayer is:
“Lord, make us faithful shepherds who will feed Your sheep, love Your people, preach Your Word, and serve Your purpose.”
Our Scripture
John 21:15–17 — “Feed My Sheep”
This passage serves as the heartbeat of Feed My Sheep Ministry Virginia.
Jesus asked Peter three times, “Lovest thou me?”
Peter answered that he loved Him.
Jesus’ response was essentially:
If you love Me, take care of My sheep.
That is the heart of this ministry:
Love Jesus.
Love people.
Feed His sheep.
Make disciples.
Serve the Kingdom.
Our Prayer
Father,
Thank You for entrusting us with Your people.
Give us the heart of a shepherd, the courage of a servant, the wisdom of a teacher, and the compassion of Christ.
Help us never to forget that the sheep belong to You.
Give us grace to feed them with Your Word, encourage them through difficult seasons, correct them with love, and lead them closer to Jesus.
Let Feed My Sheep Ministry Virginia be a vessel for salvation, restoration, discipleship, healing, encouragement, and Kingdom purpose.
In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
