Come to our Fall Retreat, September 18-20 at the Saint Clare of Assisi Retreat Center! We’ll spend Friday night through Sunday morning reflecting on the Parable of the Sower and what it means for our faith to take root. Join us for our OCIA classes beginning this Thursday, September 10th at 7pm in the CCM House. We will meet each Thursday to discuss the Catholic Church’s teachings and doctrines. You DO NOT have to commit to becoming Catholic in order to attend!! Come to learn more!

We have experienced a profound boost in enrollment this semester, praise God! More than 30 freshmen have registered to join CCM, with more registrations coming in daily, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to welcome these new students into our community.

With this growth, we anticipate a greater need for supplies and financial support for our upcoming events, including Sunday Supper, Fall Retreat, and Milkshake Monday with Adoration, and of course OCIA supplies for those planning on entering the church. We are currently at 7 students interested in our OCIA program!

As our attendance grows, we will likely need to purchase additional tables and chairs, increase our grocery budget for food-centered events, and provide scholarships for students who may not otherwise be able to afford the cost of attending Fall Retreat.

We are incredibly excited about what God is doing through our humble CCM and want to ensure that every student has the opportunity to participate fully in our community. This growth is a tremendous blessing, and we are praying for the resources needed to meet the needs of our growing ministry.

Please consider a financial contribution to support our great work in ministering to the youth of our church! We are especially in need of regular monthly donations so we can prepare to hire a new Graduate Fellow for our CCM!

Catholic Campus Ministry has expanded each year to serve the Catholic population at Christopher Newport University and to provide a spiritual home for our students, faculty and staff.
