We believe in Jesus the Christ, one with God the Father and the Holy Spirit in the Trinity.

We believe in the Bible, in all of its histories, miracles, teachings, and principles, as the inspired Word of God. We believe in the immortal soul, destined either for Heaven or Hell, according the the free choice of each individual whether or not to accept salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that this salvation is God's gift, a work of His grace, and cannot be earned or warranted

, only accepted. We believe in the Lord's imminent return, at which time He will establish His everlasting Kingdom and His authority over all creation.

If we are honest with ourselves, we have all, at one point, hoped for or even prayed that God would swiftly execute (our idea of) justice for evil doers. Yet, it seems they are allowed to continue on their destructive paths.

Then with hearts humbled, we remember the kindness and patience of God towards ourselves, & that He is not wanting anyone to perish.

Is there someone in your life who is "getting away" with sin and you feel there is just no hope for them? At RVCC, we will pray for them by name, that God's mercy and patience will lead them to repentance and life everlasting in Christ Jesus.

Join us at 10 am this morning and add your unsaved loved ones to our prayer list so we can petition the Lord together, that the hearts of the unredeemed are rescued from being "fully given to do evil", to fully surrendered to Jesus!

It is absolutely essential that we constantly compare our own concept of God against the reality of Who God is as revealed in His Word, lest we become guilty of worshipping a self-made "god".

How are we doing saints? Would our choices this past week (month, year, etc) give evidence that we are living more like "short timers" or like "earth dwellers"?

Let's encourage one another to remember we have a Heavenly citizenship and to represent well our home country where the King of Kings sits upon the throne of grace!
