Broom Tree. SWEEP SWEEP!

Broom Tree Retreat 2024, there are no words to describe. The Holy Spirit moved in power, we laughed until it hurt and laughed some more, we experienced deep friendship. Praise God!

Jesus paid it all. What for?

“…gave Himself for our sins so that He might rescue us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father.” Gal. 1:4

Am I living in this freedom and fulness of life that my Father in Heaven desires for me? If not, I am choosing to be a slave to the “present evil age.”

You choose. Freedom or slavery. YOU ARE FREE! CHOOSE TO RECEIVE IT!

Jesus Paid it all.

In this time of Lent, I encourage you to reflect on what you are living for. How are you “spending” the cost of Christ’s sacrifice for your soul? Begin in the sign of the cross, pray “Come Holy Spirit,” and write out the things you are giving most of your time and energy to.

COR Night!! What a lovely bunch! We learned about relationships and encountered Jesus in the Eucharist && the Sacrament of Confession. Oh, & pizza && a dance party:p

This world likes to fill us with worries and expectations and fears and doubts.

Take a second at the end of the day (or now!) to reflect on what worries/fears/anxieties you have.

Ask yourself why? Why do I worry about this?

Then pray, “Jesus, I surrender myself to you. Take care of everything.”

The fruit is the spirit is love, joy, PEACE, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and self control. (Gal.5:22-23)

Bonus point: read and reflect on Matthew 6🤩

God fills us with a life abundant in these things. Where are you putting your trust outside of God that only leads to this worry and anxiety?

Come Holy Spirit. Fill us with your power, love, and self-control. (2tim1:7)
