Daylight USA

Information about upcoming short-term missions as well as past mission are posted on this page.

Daylight USA is an organization at Martin Luther College that sends students around North America to share the gospel while growing as disciples. Students get the opportunity to participate in activities like sports camps, Vacation Bible School, and canvassing. Each short-term mission is unique depending on the needs of the congregation.

Jeremiah Bauer and Ian Skala, students at MLC, visited Peace Lutheran Church, King of Prussia, PA, over spring break. There, they helped with canvassing and outreach events for the church. Great job spreading the daylight! 🔆

MLC Students Andrew Raasch, Elijah Bagasao, Lily Dang, and Isaiah Sullivan enjoyed the nice weather of Gilbert, AZ, during Easter Break. There, they visited Heritage Lutheran Church, helping canvas, assisting with Easter Worship, and enjoyed a reunion with Tutor, now Pastor Savage! 🔆

This spring, Tyler Heiman, Jacob Guenther, and Daniel Reinke went to Fayetteville, North Carolina, to assist Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. They helped with canvassing and other community events held by the church. 🔆

Spring Break is a great time to spread the daylight! 🔆 That is exactly what MLC students Lilah Kiecker and Madeline Rowe did in Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, Lancaster, CA. They helped out with church outreach and canvassing in the area.

MLC students Cuauhtemoc Ramirez, Jordan Otto, and Evan Otto had the amazing opportunity to go to Cuernavaca, Mexico, and assist a VBS camp this January.
Student Cuauhtmoc Ramirez says, "It was a great opportunity to spread the good news to kids singing songs, arts and crafts, and Bible stories all in Spanish!"

Over J-Term, MLC students, Genesis Enter, Carolyn Mattes, and Allie Hinz, to the pleasure of going to Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Lancaster, CA. They helped with community canvassing and worked at the church.
