Power in Prayer, is a prayer ministry of St. John Lutheran. We meet once a month, on the first Wednesday, during the students' weekly chapel. Power in Prayer collects the students' prayers and lift them up to our Heavenly Father.

Here is a prayer from one of our 6th graders today:
"I am thankful for being a child of God. I pray for the people who are lost without faith, and I hope they can have a good relationship with God."

Yesterday, our school came together for a visit from Ned‘s Mindset Mission! 🎉 Through laughter, audience participation, and some impressive yo-yo skills, our students were reminded of an important message: Never give up. Encourage others. Do your best! We loved seeing our students engaged, smiling, and learning how a growth mindset can help them face challenges with confidence – because “I can’t do it “… just means “I can’t do it YET!“ Don’t forget the power of YET! 💪✨

What a slice of fun! 🍕✨ We had the best time at our Back-to-School Pizza Social - catching up with familiar faces, welcoming everyone back, and enjoying pizza together! One of the sweetest parts of the evening was seeing former students stop by! It was fun to reminisce, flip through the yearbook, share laughs, and celebrate the memories that make our school family so special. Here’s to a fantastic new school year! 🦅
