Everybody wants the anointing, but nobody wants the Goliath.

We pray for favor, but we panic when opposition shows up.

We ask God to use us, then wonder why the battle got bigger.

But what if the very thing you’re afraid of is the very thing God is using to reveal who you really are?

Before Goliath, David was just a shepherd boy.

Before Goliath, he was just the kid carrying lunch.

Before Goliath, he was just the piano player.

But after Goliath, everybody knew there was an anointing on his life.

The giant didn’t stop David’s destiny.

The giant introduced David to the world.

Some of you are fighting battles that seem unfair. The odds are stacked against you. People have underestimated you. They have counted you out, laughed at you, dismissed you, and written your story before God even finished the first chapter.

Don’t fear the giant.

The giant is your announcement.

The giant is your introduction.

The giant is God’s way of showing the world what He placed inside of you before the foundation of the earth.

What if this isn’t your destruction?

What if this is your revelation?

What if God allowed the battle because He intends to reveal His glory through your victory?

The enemy thought he was burying you.

God was introducing you.

So fight.

Pray and fight.

Trust and fight.

Cry if you must, but fight.

Because when God brings you through this, the same people who questioned you will have to acknowledge that the hand of God is on your life.

This battle is bigger than you.

This is not Goliath versus David.

This is Goliath versus the God who stands behind David.

And if God is for you, who can be against you?

Don’t run from your giant.

Your giant may be the very thing God uses to show the world who you really are.

“Jesus Is Real… I Know.”

I was just sitting here singing that old school song “Jesus Is Real… I Know” by John P. Kee… and the older I get, the more those words mean something different to me.

When you’ve lived long enough…
cried long enough…
survived enough…
you stop singing songs because they sound good…
you sing them because they’re TRUE.

And I started thinking about why I KNOW Jesus is real…
I know He’s real because there were nights I should’ve lost my mind… but somehow I still had peace.

I know He’s real because doors opened that no degree, no money, no connection, and no human hand could’ve opened for me.

I know He’s real because I’ve seen Him heal what doctors couldn’t explain, restore what people said was dead, and carry me through storms that should’ve drowned me.

I know He’s real because when I cried in silence… Heaven answered out loud.

I know He’s real because there’s no way I should still be standing after everything I’ve been through. The enemy tried to break me, bitterness tried to harden me, pressure tried to crush me, and life tried to bury me… but God kept breathing purpose back into me.

I know Jesus is real because I’ve watched Him take broken pieces and build miracles out of them.

Can’t nobody tell me He isn’t real.
I’ve felt Him.
I’ve seen Him.
I’ve watched Him move.
I’ve heard Him speak in moments when nobody else understood my pain.

Some of y’all know exactly what I mean…
You survived things you still can’t explain.
You made it through seasons that should’ve taken you out.
That wasn’t luck.
That wasn’t coincidence.
THAT WAS JESUS.

And the older I get, the more I realize:
People will fail you.
Money will leave you.
Titles will fade.
But Jesus will stand beside you when everybody else walks away.

So let the world laugh if they want to.
Let them doubt if they choose to.
But as for me and my house…

Jesus is real…
And I KNOW.
