Today members of the Imperial Calcasieu Delegation of the Military and Hospitaller Order of St. Lazarus of Jerusalem presented Deacon LeBlanc with a $2,200 donation towards the building of an ossuary to help provide charitable cremation burials at Holy Family Cemetery. New sidewalks are being poured in the tomb section. We are beginning on the end where the rows are the shortest and working back towards Curtis Lane. This project will be done in stages as funds permit.

Project Lazarus is a charitable burial apostolate of Holy Family Cemetery dedicated to ensuring that no one is denied a reverent and permanent interment. Through this initiative, cremated remains entrusted to our care are respectfully placed in a communal ossuary within sacred ground.

Holy Family Cemetery exists to provide “eternal rest on sacred grounds” cared for with reverence and dedication.
