To all our friends:

We all just heard of the two devastating events that took place in Haiti West last 4 days. This is now an extreme emergency that cannot wait for due process of agencies. Thank God for all their help but it simply is not enough to meet the needs. The trauma of what is lost cannot be told as I have spoken with 5 pastors in different areas.

We are asking for people to join us putting funds together to send them ASAP, some today and as often as possible.

I know there are many who are willing to help and have no way to.

We are open to everyone’s help as we continue to provide prayer and financial support to them.

They are effectivey feeding and providing for local people who have no access to Red Cross, UN or other government type help, yet the need is serious as water and food shortages continue.

As you know their president was assassinated last month.

This is a message I received this morning from Pastor Gregory Georges at Servants of All Orphanage and ministry in Haiti, “hello sister Mona, wishing you have a good night. we are in great need of your prayer. my country (HAITI) is in an extremely difficult situation today. After all that we have been through, last night they assassinated the president of the country. the situation will be much more complicated. I continue to inform you but your prayer will be very important for us. please pray for us !!

I heard from Pastor Gregory.. After the hurricane he and his family are alright ... also the orphanage children and workers. Pastor Armol too. Praise our awesome God!!! Still haven’t heard from/about Pastor Dominick or Yventz yet. Pastor Gregory asked us to pray for protection and peace concerning the second hurricane due around there in a couple of days.

Claudy grew up at SOAM children’s home in Grand Goave, Haiti. By the grace of God he is doing great things.

Claudy Jean Pierre, BS, is a Research Assistant in the MCH Equity Lab and is a student in the Master of Public Health Program at the University of Texas at Arlington. His interests include Maternal and Child Health with a focus on advocacy, policy and systems, and environmental and social determinants of health in communities around the world. Healthy Community, Healthy Family!

Claudy speaks three languages and he is currently learning Spanish. Claudy loves music. He plays saxophone and keyboard.
