Just amazing! Was reading the account of Jesus healing a blind man. So much could be taught from this account. But this morning I will share what I feel someone needs to hear. Jesus healed a blind man on the Sabbath. Being it was the Sabbath, those not believing Him to be the Christ had occasion to accuse Jesus of sinning. He broke what their interpretation of the law was.

Yet, the man who was healed simply spoke what Jesus had done. He was thrown out of the synagogue for doing so. Here is the most amazing and beautiful truth that stood out as I was reading. Jesus, heard that they had put him out, and finding him, He said,” Do you believe in the Son of Man.?” John 9:35

There is so much richness here, but I’ll bring out one thing.
Jesus heard he was put out.....and finding him....Jesus was sure to find this precious soul. He healed his physical blindness. And now He would make the healing of his soul complete. Wherever you are today, if Jesus has touched you and you know He has, know He will find you and He will touch you further. You may not understand it all, this man did not. He only spoke what he knew was true, he testified.....He touched me. I was blind and now I see.

Stand believer, confess that He touched you. Keep testifying and the Lord will reach out and touch you further.
I’m amazed at Jesus in more ways than I can state here. But today, I want to say,” His love is amazingly beautiful. He touched us and seeks to touch us further. He loves us, He loves us, He loves us!!!! Please take that to heart today.

"And when she had so said, she went her way, and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, The Master is come and calleth for thee. As soon as she heard that, she arose quickly and came unto Him. Now Jesus was not yet come into the town but was in that place where Martha met him." John 11:28-30
Wow! There is so much here to consider. But what really struck me is that " Now Jesus was not yet come into town." Can you just see Mary all dressed in her mourning clothes, distraught... Then word comes that Jesus is calling for her. She has just lost her brother, their home is full of guests, and she runs leaving all else and everyone else behind. Why? Her brother is in a tomb four days by now. Yet she knows deep in her spirit even if she can't put it into words...Jesus is still her hope in this impossible situation. She didn't run to the next-door neighbor after all... She ran a distance. I can see her panting!
Some of us can identify with her today. We are heavy and wearing mourning clothes for varies reasons. Our flesh wants to give up...throw in the towel...but way deep in our spirit, we hear Him, Jesus is calling for us to trust Him with our seemingly impossible situation. He desires to remove our mourning g clothes ...we must run and meet with Him as Mary did.

Darkness has no place in us

"It happened that as we were going to a place of prayer, a slave-girl having a spirit of divination met us, who was bringing her masters much profit by fortune-telling. Following after Paul and us she kept crying out, saying, "These men are bond slaves of the Most High God, who are proclaiming to you the way of salvation." She continued doing this for many days. But Paul was greatly annoyed and turned and said to the spirit, " I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her! And it came out of her that very moment." Acts 16:16-18
So here we see the apostles, they are busy spreading the Gospel. They are seeing wonderful conversions. And suddenly, a woman who has a demonic spirit begins following them. She follows them for days and is speaking loudly about them proclaiming that Paul and the others are "Servants of the Most High God proclaiming the way of salvation"
Those lacking discernment might wonder "What is the harm here? She is speaking the truth after all...hey, free publicity.... even-though she isn't a Christian, she is helping spread the Gospel"
Paul was greatly annoyed and commanded that spirit to come out of her! Some might think, "hey, Paul aren't you being a bit extreme?"
Thank the Lord for those who are discerning....Paul could not allow this person with a demonic spirit to follow him in any way. He could not have the ministry the Lord trusted him with yoked with a non-believer, especially one with a spirit of fortune telling. This would be a major stumbling block to many.
Last week I had a conversation with a medical professional. She had questions about the Bible, salvation and the End Times, in light of all that was going on with the Crisis in Israel and in Iraq. I explained salvation, etc.
Then she pipes in with things a certain Psychic says, and she follows her teachings on the End Times. She was surprised with my response. "I don't believe Psychics! They may know some things, but their info. comes from an evil source. If I need answers, I go to Jesus because He loves me and gave His life for me."
I shared with another medical person yesterday about mission's work. We spoke about people being so evil today and where the world is headed. I told this person "Once you have seen a person with a demonic spirit, you will never find it entertaining."
Believers, we must be careful what we are involved in as we minister. We are presenting the Name of Jesus Christ to the world around us. We have no business going to the dark side for answers. We have the Light of the world living in us! I see so many Proclaiming Christianity and involved in such dark things. You and I have no reason to yoke ourselves with this world or the darkness in this world. Or have we forgotten that Jesus Christ is enough?!!
Search your hearts today, if you find the very things which took Jesus to the cross, (violence, sexual immorality, coarse language, taking advantage of others, cheating, lying, jealousy, etc.) entertaining.... you are being yoked with this world.
Remember, there is a real spiritual realm. There is the Spirit of Christ Jesus, His Holy Spirit and there is the of Anti-Christ Spirit .... choose this day which you will serve.

Hidden or Sought After?
"Why do you stand afar off, O Lord? Why do You hide Yourself in times of trouble? Psalm 10:1
Whether in the midst of trouble or in our daily life, the questions often arise, "Where is God? Why does He seem hidden? " And believe it or not, some even wonder if there is a God at all.
The presence of the loving, creative, wonderful, compassionate, merciful and giving God is everywhere. He is not hidden; He is very obvious to those who are truly seeking Him out.
He's in the wonderfully, ordered creation. Every star, every planet, all the universe has His unique signature.
His character has been explained in the Person of His Son Jesus Christ. His essence which is Love, has been demonstrated by Jesus at the cross.
His very image can be seen in the faces of your neighbors and family. For mankind is in His likeness.
His great compassion, forgiveness, justice and protection is an open book to all who read of the history of His chosen people and land, Israel.
In every pulpit where the Gospel is preached, He is there.
Every time a baby takes its first breath He can be heard in the scream of newness of life.
All the embraces of believers, touching the hurting and praying for the sick are evidence of His Holy Spirit's movement.
He's at our communion tables as we remember His great sacrifice. He's in the soft hymns speaking of His goodness to those so unworthy and so thankful.
Wherever, there is a heart willing to seek Him out, He is no longer hidden but made so obvious, that He cannot be ignored. Will He remain hidden to you today? Or will you seek Him out?
I want to encourage you; The Lord God is ever present. I have had many struggles in this life. And as I have sought Him out, He makes Himself known. He is more real to me than the person reading this. He longs to be that real or known to you. Seek Him out. Quiet yourself and see that our precious God is very present.

Being ready

Be dressed in readiness, and keep your lamps lit." Luke 12:35

Jesus had been speaking about seeking the Kingdom. He told the crowd, do not worry about what you wear or eat. Rather be concerned about the things that matter to God.

Be dressed in readiness......this weekend all over the world believers will dress for church services. They will be concerned with their appearance. But how many will be mindful of the time we live in? How many will spend time in prayer before service for the souls of the lost? How many will be worshiping the Lord in music and also in their actions towards those in their households—before they even leave for church?

Jesus said, “I am the Light of the world”, if we walk in His Light we will not stumble in darkness. Scripture also says, His Word is a lamp unto our feet. How does one dress in readiness? By first coming to Christ in humbleness, asking forgiveness for sins. Once a person realizes his/her sin and need for the Savior, confessing such, he/she is clothed in righteousness. All the character of Christ is draped over them as a cloak—they walk wearing a robe of righteousness. The Light of Christ guides them as they walk this journey. His word (Jesus is the Word) is a lamp lighting the way as they walk.

Keep your lamps lit......this morning as you get ready, be mindful of the Holy Spirit. Seek His presence and power for your life. The oil of your lamp is the oil of the Spirit. Without this oil of the Spirit, your lamps will become dim. If your lamp becomes dim, your vision isn't clear and your way will be difficult.

Be ready, we never know what this very day may bring.

Level Ground
"Let me hear Your loving kindness in the morning; For I trust in You; Teach me the way I should walk; For to You I lift up my soul." Psalm 143:8
The Psalmist (David) is in another battle. He is on the run from enemies. The ground around him seems un-level. What does he cry out? "Let me hear Your loving kindness in the morning." What a wonderful promise we all have in God's word that His loving kindness and mercies are in fact new every morning. And because His loving kindness and mercy is sure and fair, we can trust Him to direct our steps no matter what the circumstances are today.
Some of us are pleading for direction. "Lord, teach me how to walk this season, (this situation I find myself in) out. Now more than ever I need Your wisdom to guide my steps. You alone formed me in my mother's womb, You alone know all my inner workings. You know my thoughts before I even think them. You know my heart and all the ponderings I hold even more than I know myself. Therefore, I will lift up my soul to You this day"
Sometimes this road we travel is full of tears. We step and feel as though we are on shaky ground. We gasp for fear that we are making wrong decisions. Take courage, the Psalmist goes on to say," For You are my God; Let Your good Spirit lead me to level ground."
Lord, help us today to hold on to the hem of Your garment as the woman with the issue of blood did. Help us to hold on until the shaking ground becomes level ground. You are faithful. Thank You, Jesus.

Anyone believing there is no God is in a quandary. For as they witness parents laying down their lives for their children, couples vowing to stay together unto death, adults children caring for their elderly parents, cherishing their last moments, soldiers dying that others have freedom, nurses going way beyond the call of duty to hold the hand of the hurting and countless ministers all over the globe sacrificing comfort so that others find the God of hope....they have to wonder....what motivates such behavior in mankind?
Love . It’s Source is God. Without God there would be no desire, no motivation, no pulling in the direction of sacrifice for the sake of others.
All our existence, all which makes us human, comes from Love Himself. God is Love. God is real. There really is no other explanation.
Stay close to God and love.

Pray First:
When we begin our day in prayer and His Word, we see Jesus as He is presented in the scriptures. If we go into the world first, without time in His word and presence, we see Jesus in light of what the world says.
Also, if we begin our day, praying and seeking Him to show us our own hearts, we see ourselves through His eyes. We see ourselves through His loving purposes for us and our day. However, if we rush out, without being mindful of Him or our own hearts, we take on the perception of the people around us. We see ourselves through jaded vision.
We will never see Him for who He really is, unless we make it a priority to spend time with Him first. We will never see ourselves for who we really are or for who He desires us to be unless we are seeking Him in all things.
Lord, show us more of Yourself. And show us how you see us. What others see and desire for us.....will never get us to purposes you have ordained.
