Notes from the Pastor's Desk

Good Evening, everyone! Hope everyone had a good day! I just wanted to share a couple announcements and things going on, plus a verse of encouragement to help you through the week.

For this week's Announcements:

1. T Time is downstairs tonight at 6:30 PM.

2. We will be having our Midweek Re-Charge tomorrow night at 6:30 PM.

3. We will be having Praise Team Practice this Saturday at 10:00 AM.

4. There will be Evening Service on Sunday at 6:30 PM.

5. Vacation Bible School continue through every Sunday of September. The theme is "Fishers of Men", and classes start during Sunday School time.

6. Our next T Time is on Tuesday, September 15, at 6:30 PM.

7. On Saturday, September 19, the NYI will be sponsoring a cookout down at the building, and the entire church is invited to attend! The cookout starts at 7:00 PM.

8. On Saturday, October 31, the NYI will be having an Afterglow Game Night. There will be food provided, and there will be video games as well. All that is asked is for board games to be brought. This begins at 7:00 PM.

Finally, my Scripture is Philippians 4:19-20, which says, "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen."

Just wanted to put up a reminder about our Vacation Bible School! Every Sunday this month during our normal Sunday School time, our kids will learn about being "Fishers of Men"! Also, adults can join us for Sunday School at 9:30 AM, as well as our Morning Worship service at 10:45 AM and our Evening Services at 6:30 PM.

I know I am a little late for it this week (and I apologize), but if you need a ride for Vacation Bible School, reach out to Jerry Ogden, Jr. by Friday nights throughouth the month.

Good evening! I just want to get on here and say how grateful I am to be in a church that loves the Lord! Even though we may have our fun and joke around, there is a hunger and a fire for the things of God in this place!

I also want to invite those who are watching the services to attend if you are able to! We have Sunday School at 9:30 AM and services at 10:45 AM and 6:30 PM. If those do not work for you, we have a Midweek Re-Charge on Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM.

I would also like to thank everyone who helped in the Ministry Project we did on Friday afternoon. It was a blessed time, and we showed our community the love of Christ in a way some may never have experienced before. To God Be The Glory!

Finally, my Scripture is Psalm 139:23-24, which says, "Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting."
