Our Heavenly Father,

We come humbly before You today in prayer pleading for Your mercy to intervene on behalf of those in the path of the coming hurricane. We ask for You to spare lives and property for the sake of Your Great Name. You spoke peace to the waves and they obeyed You.

We intercede at Your throne for those that have been and will yet be impacted by Hurricane Melissa. Please bring impacted communities together to assist one another, share supplies, and to provide aid as needed. We lift up first responders to You as they work countless hours helping communities in dire need. We ask that You help bring people together from all over the world to assist in any way they can to help people who are facing life-threatening, storm-related events from this hurricane. Father, please let these communities know they do not face this time alone and that they are supported, prayed over, and lifted up to You, our loving Father, for protection.
