Paul wrote in 1 Timothy 1:15 "This saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners - and I am the worst of them."

Believers in Christ: This is the same mindset we need to have. It is our personal sin and rebellion against God that has separated us from Him. We alone are guilty before the Holy God. Praise God that Christ would save such wretches like us!
