New Castle Presbyterian Church

New Castle Presbyterian Church Witnessing for Christ Since 1657 New Castle Presbyterian Church was founded in 1657 with the arrival of the first Dutch Reformed minister.

Our congregation was one of the founding churches of the first presbytery in the New World, begun in December of 1706. Our 1707 Meeting House is one of the oldest original religious buildings in continous use in the United States. Its quiet simplicity continues to grace our worship and lift our hearts for discipleship.

On this fifteenth Sunday of Pentecost, we rejoice that where two or three are gathered, Christ is present there. Pastor Miriam will preach on Jesus' teachings in Matthew 18:15-20, and we'll consider how Christ's love helps us seek holy reconciliation through the work of truth-telling and repentance. Come and rejoice at all the ways the Holy Spirit is flowing through NCPC!
Hybrid worship with Communion begins in the Meeting House at 10:30, and our bulletin and livestream are available here. We'll collect Gifts of Love donations in our white envelopes for our neighbors in need. Nursery care will be offered this Sunday; Sidewalk Fellowship after worship.
