Worship Thursday: 6 pm (said) Founded in 1689, Immanuel Church in New Castle, Delaware is one of the oldest Episcopal parishes in the United States. Beginning as the first parish of the Church of England in Delaware (then still part of Pennsylvania), Immanuel's parishoners have been worshipping on the spot where the church stands for over 300 years. story and that of the town of New Castle have always been closely linked, and continue to be so today.

Looking for an opportunity to explore Scripture, ask questions, and grow in your understanding of the Christian faith? Join us at Immanuel on the Green as we continue “A Weekly Walk Through the Scriptures.”

Each Monday evening, we’ll gather for thoughtful conversation and fellowship as we explore the foundations of our faith together. No previous Bible study experience is needed—just bring your curiosity and your questions. All are welcome!

It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces enjoying a sweet treat, warm fellowship, and a welcoming spirit. Immanuel on the Green is grateful to everyone who stopped by and helped make the day such a joyful celebration of community.
