Important VBS Reminders:
-Drop off is under the drive through. (See map)
-Please walk your child into the registration area daily to check them in.
-Pickup is car rider style starting at 4p.m. Please enter from S. Central. (See map) Form two lines if necessary and you will be directed when to pull forward. We ask that no cell phone use in line for the safety of our volunteers.
-Pull forward to buckle your child if needed.
-No car rider style pick-up Friday.

VBS Needs

Church Family,

Vacation Bible School is almost here, and we are so excited for all God is going to do through this special week! VBS will take place May 26–29 from 1:00–4:00 PM each day, with a short closing program on May 29 at 3:30 PM in the gym.

We are still in need of volunteers to help make this week a success. If you are available to serve in any capacity, we would love to have you join us as we minister to the children and families who will be attending. Please prayerfully consider volunteering and helping us create a welcoming, Christ-centered environment for every child.

We will also be decorating the church during the week and weekend leading up to VBS. If you are available to help decorate, organize, or prepare classrooms and activity areas, we would greatly appreciate the extra hands.

We want to encourage our entire church family to be in prayer for:
• The children who will attend
• Their families
• Safety throughout the week
• Salvations and spiritual growth
• Our volunteers and leadership team

Finally, we hope everyone will join us for One Service on Sunday, May 31 in the gym, where the children will sing their VBS songs during the service. Immediately following One Service, we will have a Family Picnic Fundraiser benefiting our Children’s Ministry.

Dear Parents and Families,
We hope you and your family are doing well. We are so grateful for the work that Samaritan’s Purse is doing in our community and for the ways our church is able to support their efforts during this time.
However, due to their current presence on our campus, several of our regular children’s ministry spaces are being used, and we are also currently facing a shortage of volunteers. These factors together have created challenges related to gathering space, supervision, and, most importantly, the safety of our children. Having consistent, committed volunteers is essential to helping our ministry run smoothly and safely.
After much prayer and consideration, we have decided to temporarily cancel all Wednesday Night (Kingdom Quest) Children’s Ministry activities until we can find adequate space and enough volunteers to safely and efficiently run our rotations on Wednesday nights. This decision has been made out of an abundance of caution and with your children’s well-being as our top priority.
We do want to invite all families to join us next Wednesday, February 18th, at 6:00 PM for our churchwide Ash Wednesday service in the sanctuary. We would love for you and your children to be part of this special time of worship and reflection together.
We know this temporary pause may be an inconvenience, and we truly appreciate your understanding and flexibility. If you have ever considered serving in children’s ministry, this would be a wonderful time to pray about joining our team. Your support truly makes a difference.
We will keep you updated and notify you as soon as children’s activities are able to resume.

FLOCK will meet on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. We will be entertained by New Albany High School students who will perform selections from the upcoming high school musical, Tuck Everlasting. Please reserve your place on Realm, by adding your name to the sign up sheet outside the Sanctuary, or by texting Belinda Russell at 662- 266- 2689. Reservations should be made by Thursday, February 6th.
