What a wonderful worship service we had today for Pentecostal Sunday. It was a bright colorful service which began with a delightful handbell concert and included an inspiring sermon by Rev. Zach Sasser.

The church was blessed with flowers last Sunday. Mrs. Anne Harrison donated to a flower fund in memory of her mother, Mrs. Harriet Orr Davis, and her grandmother, Mrs. Mary T. Orr. Since 2004 she has given annually to a fund to provide flowers for the Sunday closest to Mrs. Orr's birthday which was April 30,1879. The floral arrange was created by church members Michael Arwood and Jim Dagg. Then, the six arrangements were distributed to other church members who are home bound. Pictured here is Vi Prosser one of the recipients. And, the extra funds were used to purchase flowers for the church’s outside pots and courtyard garden.
