Friday, June 5, 2026, marks a special occasion - our 16th wedding anniversary. In observance, we will be offline and savoring cheesecake while watching Talladega Nights. Quotes from this movie played a role in bringing us together. It’s part of how we “just knew”. 😂

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”

It’s so easy when things are going good to say and believe that we totally trust Jesus. However in those hard moments when you don’t know what to do and what direction to go Trusting Him can be very difficult.

I believe in those moments when Trusting Him wavers we have the greatest opportunity to activate our faith and fearlessly ask the Lord to search every part of us that has mistrust and unbelief.

“Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭139‬:‭23‬-‭24‬ ‭ESV‬‬

It’s in these moments of submission and reflection we begin to hear God’s small still voice. We begin to see the direction that He’s been taking us and see He has been directing us this entire time. God is the ultimate chess player!

When God speaks a word over us we sometimes expect that word to come to pass very quickly.

Many times the word takes time to come to pass because the Lord is working on our hearts and character or even positioning us in order for that word to be His most effective.

Beloved if you have a word that you have been waiting on for a long time remember God wants the full return on that word and wants you in the best position to receive it!

Isaiah 55:9 ESV
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

God's Plan: Ignore the Doubters!

Are you doubting God's call on your life? Do you feel like others would be more qualified than you? Don't listen to those who doubt you! And stop doubting yourself and just take that step of faith! Most of those we read about in scripture doubted God's call, as well. But God sees you as who He called you to be, not who you feel like you are now.

The Religious spirit is the AntiChrist!
It tries to get you to save yourself through your works instead of receiving Christ's sacrifice for your sin. This is anti-Christ! It is a spirit of control that keeps you in bo***ge to sin instead of freeing you from it, which was the whole point of Jesus dying for you!
