The Original Church of God remembers and celebrates the life of Elder Samuel Eugene McDonald Sr. "Elder Mac" as he was affectionately know by many will be greatly missed. He was reared and served in many areas of ministry within the Original Church of God. He Pastored three different congregations and served as General Overseer of HYPU (Holiness Young People's Union) Congress. His dynamic teaching and preaching, Godly humility, powerful prayers, inspiring wisdom and love for the saints will be cherished marks of his ministry.

After his move to New Mexico and then settling in Texas his love, concern and support of the National and many local churches was still present and evident in tangible ways. He conducted many revivals and services throughout the many churches that had open doors for his ministry. May his life that was dedicated to God, modeled after Jesus Christ and directed by the Holy Spirit be a testimony to all who knew and loved him.

We extend sincere condolences to his wife, Sis. Amaryllis McDonald, children, grandchildren, siblings, extended family and friends. May God give each person peace and strength during this time of sorrow.

Blessed Hands Café will be open for a special Youth Fundraiser today from 12 PM to 3 PM.

Plates include your choice of meats, classic sides, and desserts, plus Granddaddy’s famous tea, lemonade, and Kool-Aid.

Payments can be made at pickup or online. Donations also accepted.
