He is Risen! He is Risen Indeed!

Today we rejoice in the victory of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” — Matthew 28:6

The tomb is empty.
Death is defeated.
Sin has been conquered.

Because of the resurrection, we have hope, freedom, and new life. The cross was not the end of the story — it was the beginning of redemption for all who believe.

“I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me, though he die, yet shall he live.” John 11:25

This Easter, may we remember the sacrifice, celebrate the victory, and walk worthy of the calling we have received.

Rejoice today, for the stone was rolled away, and our Savior lives!

Today was the conclusion of the March 2026 Hit the trail for the woodland trails. All the boys looked like they had a good weekend. We spent Saturday afternoon listening to the park rangers talk about snakes. Most of the boys spent their time near the lake shore fishing.

Phase 2 of the service project has been completed. We have cleaned out all the growth and now are prepared for the addition of amenities. This area is expected to serve as an excellent space for the church and its ministries to come together. Although the project is a substantial undertaking, its completion will be well worth the effort. Again thanks to the crew at Hubbard Garage Doors for there help in making this happen. Further updates will follow.

This morning, our Troop kicked off a big service project with a major land-clearing effort to create a usable space for both the Church members and our Troop. While we made tremendous progress, there’s still more to do—but we’ll be back to finish the job!

A huge shout-out goes to Matthew Hubbard and his team from Hubbard Garage Doors for rolling up their sleeves and helping tackle this massive project.

We’re excited to see the amazing transformation this space will undergo and can’t wait to share the results with everyone!

Our visit to Tyler State Park over the weekend was highly enjoyable, despite the rain. We participated in a Dutch oven cooking session and gained valuable insights into the park's history from the Rangers. We also contributed to the park's upkeep by cleaning the trails and explored the historical structures. Throughout our stay, we felt fortunate to be surrounded by nature's beauty. The evening campfire gatherings, where we shared stories and discussed our experiences, were particularly memorable.

The 2026 Worthy Derby is now complete. It was a pleasure to experience friendly competition, troop camaraderie, and establish new relationships. We look forward to the next event.
