The world(the enemy in common reference) is not here to help you, rather it would work against you for the sake we have claimed Jesus over ourselves. The way of The LORD is a lamp unto our feet while the devil is here to steal, kill & destroy us as we are holding onto it. It is trying to loose our hold one finger at a time. We need to hold onto and understand we cannot have more faith in the ability to start our cars & trucks than we have when we pray in Jesus name.
Putting the LORD 1st can mean a lot of things but an obedient heart, one humble enough to confess our sins and not stay in the mud but rise up. To give glory to God the Father for our opportunity to live, breathe and serve in His house. To be a part of the body.
Nothing is done alone, the hand cannot work if it is not connected to a shoulder anymore than our feet can support us if they were on the floor, not connected to our ankles. They might make an interesting center piece but if they lay on the floor to the left of us and unconnected. What good would they really be?
The Bible is our road map, the church is our source for physical connection & support, prayer makes it all work while faith is the beginning of hope that creates action as the initiating spark of Biblical changes. Salvation, humility, abundance & blessing others. Everything is connected and designed to meet you on any level and any place however one part is meant to lead you to the next, until you begin to be fulfilled and covered in love.
We all fall short of the glory of God and require a sacrifice to be sanctified and made clean however the 1st sign of evil is the lack of love & peace. When these are missing, stop everything. You may not need to tear out your hair or throw ashes in the air while dressed in sackcloth but we should seriously have such an internal conviction that our external is effected and resembles our heart.
It's not about wearing fancy cross necklaces' or pendant earrings, no we are called to be the salt of the earth and to be a light in the darkness. So stand out like a lighthouse on the shore that by faithfully being there one day a ship may find safe harbor in the storm because you held onto our LORD & SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST.
Lime 21:19(niv) says that when you stand firm you will win. Now this section is talking about the end times, and the signs to watch for. So by standing strong on the rock, we are saved. Being saved means finding rest in our LORD and being invited into His presence as a faithful servant.
We were not given a spirit of fear but a sound mind as when we pray we should not waver as the ocean sends the waves back and forth. No, our prayers, our minds, they shall be certain in faith and we shall previal in His name by the blood paid for our souls.
When the world says you are done, let hope speak to your damaged soul, and try one more time.
