Northeast American Diocese of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church https://bit.ly/SupportMGOCSM The Northeast American Diocese serves more than six states in the northeastern United States, and two provinces in Canada.

It consists of more than 50 parishes. Through our local parish communities, the Diocese caters to the spiritual needs of over 20,000 Orthodox faithful, by proclaiming the Gospel in accordance with the Orthodox faith, sanctifying the faithful through sacred worship and offering the loving presence of Christ in their spiritual lives.

Memory Eternal!

On the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, we pause in prayer and remembrance of all those who lost their lives on that tragic day.

We remember the victims, honor the courage and sacrifice of first responders and all who served, and pray for the families and communities who continue to carry the sorrow of that day.

May the Lord grant rest to those who have departed, comfort to those who mourn, and peace to our nation.

The Malankara Syrian Christian Association held on Thursday August 26th announced 4 priests to be elected to the Holy Episcopacy:

The following were elected to the episcopate (listed in alphabetical order):

-Rev. Fr. Eldos A. A.
-Rev. Fr. Samji T. George
-Rev. Fr. Shibu Venad Mathai
-Rev. Fr. Thomas Paul Remban

It is worthy to note, that Rev. Fr. Shibu Venad Mathai is a beloved priest of the Northeast American Diocese.

May these four candidates who will be raised to the Holy Episcopacy, be a blessing for the growth and ministry of the Holy Church!
