Commonway Church Everything we do at Commonway Church is to invite people to find hope in Jesus.

Commonway Church is a community of individuals inviting people to find hope in Jesus. We gather on Sunday mornings at 10:00 AM in the heart of downtown Muncie to do just that. Whether you’ve never heard of Jesus, are skeptical about who He is, haven’t been to a church in a while, or are looking for a church to call home, we invite you to check us out!

It’s a joy to celebrate as a church what God is doing in the lives of the children at Commonway. This past week, the third graders were presented Bibles to encourage them in their faith. Parents we are standing with you and your children in prayer and support, as you continue to pray over your children, share with them God’s Word and impress on their heart to hold Jesus close and to follow Him every day.

Deuteronomy 11:18-19
“Imprint these words of mine on your hearts and minds, bind them as a sign on your hands, and let them be a symbol on your foreheads. Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”

God our Father, we come to you today with prayerful hearts for those affected by the flooding, tornadoes in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, and Hawaii. We pray for the rescues and recovery efforts in all areas and for the families that are grieving the loss of a loved one, loss of their home and feeling hopeless. Never forget that Jesus is there with us in the midst of it all!

His presence, His comfort, His strength, His peace is available to us in the midst of uncertainty, fear, our pain, hopelessness and despair.
We pray for strength for the first responders as they continue their endless, resilient efforts to help those in need.
In Jesus name, Amen.

SHIFT will be starting their 9 week program soon and will go from September 14-November 16. It offers God’s promise of hope for kids and teens in grades 3-12 that are grieving and have experienced the loss of a loved one.
