As we face decisions concerning the professional remediation proposals and prepare for the work that lies ahead, WE WILL CONTINUE OUR PAUSE IN ORGANIZED VOLUNTEER WORK DAYS.

Many thanks to all those who helped us retrieve the commercial kitchen equipment we were able to purchase for pennies on the dollar. (All of the Papa Murphy’s pizza stores are closing for good.) We understand that today's volunteers made quite a U-Haul! Thanks again!

OUR PAUSE IN VOLUNTEER WORK DAYS WILL CONTINUE…

Having evaluated our progress and the work that lies ahead, WE WILL CONTINUE OUR PAUSE IN ORGANIZED VOLUNTEER WORK DAYS FOR NOW.

Thanks to the tremendous efforts of our volunteers, nearly all of the demolition, debris removal, and salvaging work has been completed. We are now preparing for the next phase: REMEDIATION-LEVEL DEEP CLEANING of the Counseling Center—ceiling to floor, wall to wall, over, under, and behind all of the above.

Before that work begins, we're developing a careful strategy, securing the proper cleaning supplies and equipment, and making sure the work can be done safely, effectively, and as close to professional standards as possible.

SO, NO VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED TOMORROW. Please continue to watch this page for updates. We will let you know as soon as we are ready to resume organized work days.

In the meantime, please enjoy the break—and know how deeply grateful we are for the extraordinary amount of work you have already accomplished.
