Jesus said, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations and then the end will come.” (Matthew 24:14)
What a blessing to be in partnership with Sanjeev Nand who is the apostolic leader for Harvest Vision India where we have been able to start teaching on the 5-fold ministry as described for the preparing and equipping of the church in the last days. Sanjeev will be traveling to Chennai, the 6th largest city in India in the southern state of Tamil. Unlike the three states we are currently ministering in, the language is Tamil or English instead of Hindi. Martin, the Harvest Vision Director in central Africa and one of the Bible school teachers is joining with Ronaldo and myself in the USA to share every month in Bible school teaching for leaders in India via the internet. Lessons are sent before the sessions so they can be translated and given to the leaders before the training. We are also sharing the gospel into the homes of families living in different areas every month. We are also pleased that Sanjeev has started Harvest Kids in India. He meets with children in his village two hours every Sunday sharing the Word of God, memorizing scriptures, praising God, sharing testimonies and praying together. India now exceeds the population of China with almost 1.5 billion people with less than 2% Christians. Please join us in prayer for the gospel to be preached. Many of these believers are ostracized from their families and communities when they accept and follow Jesus Christ.
If you would like to make a donation, they can be made on line through the “electronic giving” on the home page of the www.harvestvisionministries.org website. You can also mail donations to Harvest Vision Ministries, at PO Box 15, Concrete, WA, 98237. All donations are tax-deductible and help advance the gospel of Jesus Christ and build His Kingdom. We operate totally on a volunteer basis and no one receives any compensation for the labor that is required to over-see the ministry. All monies go to our co-laborers that are actively reaching the lost and teaching new believers to be true disciples in the various harvest fields He has called us to.

We are blessed to have been a part of our local Gleaners for years and we appreciate their ministry. We have been blessed again with a wonderful harvest of sweet corn donated to Harvest Kids ministry by a local farmer and his family that have been supporting the kids in our local community to help meet the needs of orphaned and vulnerable children in Africa for over 10 years.
Kids helping kids, Jesus style. We teach the children every time we break bread together at Harvest Kids to take one of everything and then you can get more. We do this on behalf of the many children in Africa that go to bed every night hungry. Not a guilt trip but an example of giving with love and compassion/.
“Some time after this, Jesus crossed to the far shore of the Sea of Galilee (that is, the Sea of Tiberias), and a great crowd of people followed Him because they saw the signs He had performed by healing the sick. Then Jesus went up on a mountainside and sat down with His disciples. The Jewish Passover Festival was near. When Jesus looked up and saw a great crowd coming toward Him, He said to Philip, ‘Where shall we buy bread for these people to eat?’ He asked this only to test him, for He already had in mind what He was going to do. Philip answered Him, ‘It would take more than half a year’s wages to buy enough bread for each one to have a bite!’
Another of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, spoke up, ‘Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?’
Jesus said, ‘Have the people sit down.’ There was plenty of grass in that place, and they sat down (about five thousand men were there). Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish.
When they had all had enough to eat, He said to His disciples, ‘Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.’ So they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten. (John 6:1-13)

What a blessed time at Harvest Kids. The Harvest Kids were eager to help set up, bless their hearts. It was an awesome time counting money with the Harvest Kids. We had lots of money because of corn season. Much thanks to Fred DeVries for supplying the corn, planting it, going above and beyond for Jesus Christ sake. So, much thanks to you señor. We were blessed to count money. We counted $552 dollars for Harvest Kids backpacks with love, plus the $578 which the Harvest kids are currently at. Total in all was $1,130 for the namingo harvest vision church family in eastern, Uganda, Africa. 45 backpacks with love for orphaned and special needs students ages (4-17) years old. The Harvest kids praised the Lord as we worshiped and danced along. We then memorized Revelation 2:7 "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who overcomes, I will grant the right to eat from the tree of life in the Paradise of God". The Harvest kids memorized that like is was another day in the neighborhood. We also made wordless bracelets and had wordless books to give to the Harvest Kids. Allowing them a practical way to spread the gospel through a few colors. Thank you Lisa and all who helped prepare food. It was delicious 😋. Also much thanks to all who donate aluminum cans which goes to help orphans and broken families in need. Don’t be shy, come join us the Harvest Kids meet every 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month. The 2nd Saturday is at the dairy Fred’s shop 12797 Thillberg rd. Mount Vernon and the 4th Saturday is at Mike and Lisa Noels greenhouse 9419 Soren Rd. Sedro Woolley from 11am-1:30pm. We also meet with children as the Lord directs in each community.

Awesome time at Harvest Kids being able to be there and supporting Harvest Kids in crushing aluminum cans to help meet the needs of less vulnerable children. We were blessed to recently take 580 pounds of aluminum cans to Z Recyclers. Getting us $356 for comfort Africa and $56 for the Harvest Kids project. Comfort Africa helps with getting backpacks with love ready to give to the ones the Lord leads us to give to. The Harvest kids are currently at $578 working on getting 45 backpacks with love to Namaingo Harvest Vision church family in eastern Uganda, Africa, for orphaned and special needs kids from the age of (4-17) years old. The goal is $1,350. So much thanks to all who have supported the Harvest Kids in many countless ways. The Harvest Kids had a wonderful time learning about the good Samaritan and how we should do the same. Lyman Harvest Kids made blessing bags so we could give out to the ones in need of a little blessing. Baggies include all sorts of things that someone on the streets could use. Hand sanitizer, lipstick, fingernail files, granola bar, wordless book bracelet explaining the gospel, handwritten note of word of encouragement, toothpicks and more. Giving the Harvest Kids an opportunity to show love to those around us. Despite the circumstance in one’s life. We did a little skit of ways you could approach someone on the streets. The Harvest Kids did good. And of course, informing the Harvest Kids to always have an adult go with you when approaching someone you don’t know. The Harvest Kids did great job remembering the memorization verse which was: Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: while we were sinners Christ died for us.” The rest of the time we played games and went to go see the milking Parlor where they milk the cows.

We are so grateful for all the people in our lives. This month, God willing, I will be 79 years young and in October Linda will be 78 years young and we have our 50th anniversary in December. Over 30 years ago, we surrendered to Jesus Christ with our whole hearts to follow Him and we began the ministry. At that time, we were blessed to have a wonderful family that supported our journey with us. Our granddaughter, Kylee, because we were able to spend a great deal of time with her, became instrumental in the starting of Harvest Vision Ministries. Thirteen years ago, she traveled to Africa and started what is now Harvest Kids, with her 4 ½ and 2 ½ year old daughters, Madilyn and Hailey. They also adopted one of the orphan children, Peace, to be her daughter and a sister for the girls. Later, Kylee had another daughter, Clara,
Almost two years ago, August 24th, 2024, Kylee was taken to be with the Lord. Harvest Kids has continued to grow to other locations and other countries. During these last two years, Madilyn and Hailey were moved to live with their dad and his wife in Moses Lake, in eastern Washington, and her sister, Keira, and her family are raising Clara in Arlington. It has been an enormous blessing to Linda and me and we were encouraged when Keira took her place as the Snohomish County liaison for Harvest Vision Ministries.
The reality is these last two years being separated from Kylee, family and friends, even with the support of their family in Moses Lake, has been a time of struggles for Madilyn and Hailey and we are all thankful they were all (including Kylee) always best friends with each other. We are thankful that they all had made their own decision to follow Jesus and that God allowed them to have each other during this season of their lives. We were blessed to have them visit at the home of Mike and Pam Westberg in Birdsview where Linda, Ronaldo and myself live. We were also blessed that they joined with us for our evening fellowship with some of the kids that are a part of the Lyman church family. We are thankful that they are actively pursuing what God has planned for them.
“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work. If one falls down, her friend can help her up. But pity the woman who falls and has no one to help her up! Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken,” (Ecclesiastes 4 :9-12)
Jesus said: “I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in My Name, there I am with them.” (Matthew 19-20)
Jesus said: “I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble, but take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

What a blessed time at Harvest kids. Being able to count money for the next goal that is yet to be determined. The Harvest Kids had $9 from the previous goal which was for the 42 back packs with love for the Ki Kooge Kaliro district. Which the Harvest Kids reached by the grace of God. The Harvest Kids counted a total of $195 for the next goal. Plus the $9 made it a whopping $204 towards the next goal. They all drum-rolled as they filled in the thermometer. Praise God! Odette was such a blessing at Harvest Kids playing songs for the Harvest Kids and being such a blessing to us all. Also learning how to spell Bible in American sign language. Thank you Odette! The word up was, “Have Faith!” Anytime we yell word up we all stand and scream, “Have Faith!”. The memorization verse was Hebrews 11:1 reminding us that sometimes we may not be able to see God but Faith is not about see it’s about being sure of what you hope for and being certain of what we do not see. We also read the story of Daniel how he had such faith in Christ despite being thrown into the lions den. He knew no matter what happened to him he would be just fine because of the one he had faith in. Sometimes in life we get easily manipulated in to thinking God is som evil God to let us suffer in such ways and some of that is true but it’s all apart of His plan. We just have to stop doubting, throwing our little fits of rage and have faith in Him Despite the circumstances. We had a blessed time reading scripture together and memorizing it. We all bowed our heads. As we prayed and blessed the food. Thank you mama Linda and the young lady who helped set up, Melody! The rest of the time we had a fun little time having a competition on who could get the cow to eat the potato out of your hand first. It didn’t take long for one of them to eat a potato out of their hand.
