Throughout our journey of faith we have coveted the prayers of everyone that has joined with us as we pray for one another knowing that God hears our prayers. As many of you know, our granddaughter Kylee and her daughters birthed the vision that started the Harvest Kids ministry in February 2013 which is also the month Kylee was born. The girls were 4 1/2 and 2 1/2 years old when we traveled to Africa to anoint the constructing of Madilyn's House for the orphan girls in that community. We had contacted the pastor and founder of that school and asked if he would pick one of the girls that would be about the age of the Madilyn and that girl was named Peace. When we visited Africa, they met Peace for the first time and were immediately sisters and when Kylee traveled back for the final opening of Madilyn's House she told Peace that the Lord had told her to be a mother to her and the girls would be her sister. Eventually, Kylee and the girls supported her so she could continue her education in Kampala under the care of Martin, the director of HVA, and Suzan, the admin coordinator of HVA and their families. After a few years we exhausted all possible means to adopt her but that was not in God's plan at the time.
Over a year ago, the Lord took Kylee to be with Him where she could better over-see the work that He had appointed to her. All the girls and the entire family have had to depend on the Holy Spirit to give us the grace needed to continue to love and serve Him by considering others more than ourselves. We recognize that at this moment, both Madilyn here in the USA and Peace in Africa are undergoing a spiritual attack that is bringing questions that are grounded in Satan's lie about our worth and value to Him and our purpose. Satan’s plan is that this attack spills over into the lives of Hailey, Clara and all the families involved in the USA and Africa.
Without any other explanation, we are asking for your prayers against these forces of evil that only come to steal, kill and destroy. This is in no way meant to be a means of placing blame or responsibility because it has been God's will if for no other reason than to help us understand how much God appreciates our willingness to care for those that are broken hearted and crushed in spirit. Thank you in advance for your prayers.
