This weekend, High School Pastor and future Benton Campus Pastor, Pacey Reynolds, brought a powerful message about the secret to surrender.

What if the question we asked as restless kids in the back seat of a car is actually the defining struggle of our adult lives? "Are we there yet?" never really goes away. We become obsessed with the destination, we trade trust for control, and in doing so, we trade the journey God has for us for a smaller story we can manage ourselves, but the secret is a life fully surrendered to Him.

For the last 7 days, as a church, we’ve been fasting and praying for what God wants to do in this next season at Central, and specifically for what He’s going to do through the launch of Central Benton.

We believe God is already at work, and we want to be a church that responds in faith, moves with confidence, and contends for what’s still to come.

There are still so many ways you can partner with us in the days to come:

Pray for God’s Church to thrive through many locations across Southern Illinois. Pray that we would continue to move with confidence in whatever God places in front of us.
