After our lesson tonight on “Being Kind”📍
Ephesians 4:32 (we work on a memory verse each week💕)

We decided to have a spontaneous night of fun (sorry parents) with our water 💧 blasters! 😍

But ya’ll….
Poor Bro. Leo didn’t stand a chance during the water fun,…
He was soaked! 😂

Every school year we give the kids anointing oil & a prayer they can put in there desk/folder at school or hang up on their wall in their room.

Today during our lesson the kids shared what they did with the anointing oil they received last time. Some said…they anointed themselves while at school, anointed their siblings and prayed for them in their sleep, and they used the oil to pray before leaving for school.
They understand the spiritual assignment.

It’s Youth/Teen Ministry Monday at A.I.A. today 5:30p-7p! If you are dropping off your kids they can come anytime after 515p, and be sure to pick them up by 7p. Last week my group learned about this verse: Depart from evil, and do good; Seek peace, and pursue it.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭34‬:‭14‬ ‭KJV‬‬
We did a worksheet and it was a blessing to see the responses! I have been praying on them and hopefully they walked out what they learned!

To the kids who agreed on Monday to walk in the parade today. They are to be dropped off at 12:30p at 228 S. 9th Street. We will get them changed into their shirt and then go to the lineup. Please pick them up at Forest Park when the parade is over. There will be festivities there including water activities so you may want to bring extra clothes for them. We are not responsible for them at the event after the parade unless discussed otherwise! Happy Juneteenth and thanks for allowing your little one to be apart of the parade!

So proud of some of our Youth & Teen Ministry who participated in yesterday’s 5K Mental Health Awareness Event hosted by the MTV NAACP Branch! Every step taken was a reminder that mental health matters, and that no one has to walk through life's challenges alone. We are proud of these young people for being the hands and feet of Christ while supporting an important cause. Thank you to everyone who represented our ministry with compassion, strength, and purpose. 💚
