There is lots of potato salad, coleslaw, chips, lettuce, sliced tomatoes, deserts, 2 gal sweet ice tea, gallon lemonade and lettuce, sliced tomato, fried chicken. Just come and eat

Sunday June 14, we will have a combined worship service 10am at Marvin Chapel with a potluck lunch for everyone after the service. Marvin Chapel will have a quarterly church meeting following lunch.

Guest Preacher: Rev. Ernest Snyder

Ernest Manford Snyder was born on Nov 14th, 1935 on a farm behind Prospect Church. When he was 4 yrs old his family moved near Thurmont where he was raised on a dairy farm. Ernest married his wife Martha and they were married for 70 years. He was licensed in ministry in 1989 through the Rocky Ridge Church of the Brethren. Ernest also served in the Army for 34 years and was promoted to Brigadier General. He lived in this area for 60 years before moving to Tucson Arizona. He has one daughter Robin who also resides in Tucson.
