Dear Parish Family, It is with great sadness that I share with you the passing of our dear sister, Peg Pelch, a beloved parishioner of St. James' and a faithful member of The Order of the Daughters of the King™.

Our scouts (Scouting America Troop 829 - Mount Airy, MD) spent the evening working on their orienteering skills for rank! Way to go, Scouts!

A small (and mighty) basket of produce. Off to the Mt. Airy Net food bank we go! Thank you Outreach team and parish gardeners for this beautiful new ministry in support of our neighbors🙏. And thank you God for these wonderful ministers: the builders, the planters, the waterers, the harvesters, and the deliverers🙏💕

Our next Paint n’ Sip (tea) is approaching!
September 20th, 2p-4p! Spots fill fast! PM us if you’d like to reserve a spot and we will forward you the payment instructions.

This month, our theme is butterflies and the power of prayer. We will use a wooden cutout of a butterfly. We will also have silhouettes available of a man praying and a woman praying.

We will have a lovely assortment of teas, beautiful teapots and teacups, and snacks (including gluten-free).

As usual, if this first class fills to capacity, we will schedule a second class.
