The Synod Office will be closed through Friday for post-Synod Assembly recovery.

Synod Assembly 2026 adjourned sine die shortly after 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6.

It will take a little time to get a summary put together.

Special thanks to all those who took up committee assignments and worked behind the scenes to make Synod Assembly happen.

This year's Synod Assembly will feature two workshops on lay leadership (one dealing with the spiritualities of the church, the other with the temporalities). These are designed with a heavy focus on sharing among the members of the Assembly what has worked and what has proven a challenge.

These workshops were requested by a Synod Council that liked the sharing (by called out members of the Assembly) about ministries around the synod that happened last year during the bishop's report.
