Ringing music for missions! The Handbell Choir and Community Bell Choir collected $2,059 during their spring concert and donated the gift to Martha’s Mission to benefit our neighbors in Carteret County.

On May 20th, fourteen WaveRunners visited Blackbeard’s Queen Anne’s Revenge Shipwreck project at ECU’s Conservation Research Lab. This educational tour of the amazing work undertaken at ECU Restoration Facility was very informative. We had an excellent tour guide, a retired ECU Archaeologist professor, Dr. Ewen. Seeing and experiencing the many stages used to conserve, document and investigate the artifacts recovered was astounding. Takes years to achieve to reach the final stage to what we see in a museum!! What a wonderful time we had! Last but not least, lunch at Parker’s BBQ, an eastern NC favorite. Many thanks to everyone that joined us and especially Jay Smith, our favorite and best bus driver! We will be back in September for more fun trips. Please join us, a wonderful time for Christian fellowship!
