When the Reverend Oscar Elmer arrived in the Red River Valley, he found a tent colony housing a few rugged pioneers. Settlers were carving out a new life along the Red River where boats carried supplies to the people of the valley. This site, which later became known as Moorhead, saw the first religious services conducted by Rev. Elmer at the Chapin House, a tent hotel, on October 1871.

This Sunday we continue our June sermon series, Paul's Letter to Moorhead with A Church That Serves (Romans 12:9–21), exploring what it means to be a church that makes a difference beyond its walls.

We are also honored to welcome the Girl Scouts as they present First Presbyterian Church with the Trefoil Award in recognition of our support for scouting in our community.

Plus, enjoy special music from John Schneck.

Worship begins at 10:30 AM with fellowship following the service.
