Meet Fr Michael: our spiritual leader and guide! ⛪️✝️

When he’s not hanging out with MCCM or doing his other parish responsibilities you can find him (or not find him!) spending time in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, hiking, motorsports/off-roading. One thing for sure, you will not catch him watching tv/movies or listening to music- this man likes a quiet lifestyle!

Fr Michael finds his inspiration from St Bruno- the founder of the Carthusian Order (It is the only order in the history of the Catholic Church that has never been reformed!) The Carthusian Motto: “The cross stands firm while the world turns.” Even though the world and culture changes, God does not change.
Fr Michael had some events and experiences in his life which brought him to his knees and eventually he answered God’s calling to priesthood. In August of 2013, he entered seminary!

A few fun facts about this Moorhead native: he was adopted and diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes as an infant and he’s met the Pope!

We spent the day at MSUM greeting freshman and the students returning from summer break! What a blessing the beginning of a new year is! See you tomorrow for our first Sunday mass and lunch!

So great to meet new Dragons today at the Sidewalk Café'! See you at 11:45 Mass on Sunday! We will be having a great homemade lunch right after Mass prepared by Dcn. Paul and Shawn Erickson!

This Sunday, August 21st, we begin our Sunday 11:45 Mass followed by a home-cooked FREE meal afterwards! College students come join us and bring a friend! We are looking forward to a great year!
