Our Fall sermon series, "Feeding the Flock," will show what the Bible teaches about leadership, care, and commitment in the church. Scripture says Jesus is the Good Shepherd who lovingly cares for his sheep, and he does this is by providing pastors to shepherd, teach, protect, and oversee each congregation. We’ll see why the church needs faithful pastoral leaders, why pastoral care is best shared by a team of qualified men, how deacons support pastors in a special way, and how the whole church flourishes when every member embraces their place in the flock.

This series will feature sermons from both of our pastors as well as two of our own missionaries: Flincks In Chile (Chile), and Glen Galbraith (England). The messages will remind us that the church is not merely an event to attend but a flock to belong to, serve, and flourish in together. As we see God’s design for pastors, deacons, and members, we pray that we will deepen our love for Christ, strengthen our commitment to one another, and help our church grow as a well-cared-for flock under the Chief Shepherd, taking our next steps in following him.

The series begins Sunday, September 13th, followed by a church picnic at Lindenwood Park.
