Sunday, July 16th will be YOUTH GROUP for all 6th to 12th graders. We will meet at the Moorhead Public Pool and swim from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. See you there!

We spent a couple hours out at Farm in the Dell this morning playing in the mud. 😊

They were also blown away by our donation. Thanks to all who came out to help!

OK Tire Car Show - Thursday, June 29, 2023
OSLC youth will be working the concession stand at the OK Tire Car Show at Walmart on 52nd Ave in Fargo, in the parking lot this Thursday, June 29, 2023, from 5—8 p.m. All proceeds raised will help with their youth trips. Plan to come out and enjoy all the amazing vehicles on display and eat at our concession stand to benefit our youth!

Happy Thursday!

Here is what's coming up:

Thursday, June 29: OK Tire Car Show at 52nd Avenue Walmart. Let me know if you still want to sign up to help at this event, we could use a couple more youth sign ups. Shifts are 3-6:30 or 6-9:30. Can't stay the entire shift? That's ok! Come help when you can.

Wednesday, July 12: Farm in the Dell Service Work 9am-11am. All ages are welcome! Volunteer Release and Waiver form must be filled out. I have copies of those in the basket outside my door or you can go to www.farminthedellrrv.org and print out your own. I will need an approximate number for them, so please let me know if you are planning to attend! They have inside and outside work for us to do that day, you get to pick.

Sunday, July 17: Youth Group (grades 6-12) meets at the Moorhead Pool from 6:30-8:30 for some swim time.

Time and Date TBD on upcoming service work this summer for the Great Plains Food Bank and Hope Blooms. I love the servant hearts of the youth and adults at OSLC. You all truly have a passion for helping others.

I've really felt the love this past week as I started this new journey with you. Stop in to say hi anytime. I am in the office Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 4:00pm.

Please pay attention to the slot description, it will specify if a parent or youth should fill it. Both shifts will meet at Walmart on 52nd Avenue. Pastor Jake and Abbey will load up everything....

We had a great first youth group tonight! Had some brownies and ice cream with toppings. Played some games, got to know each other, and made plans for some service work in the community as well as other fun things to do in the future. Thanks for coming!

Next youth group meeting will be Sunday, July 16 at the Moorhead Pool if the weather is nice. ☀️ Time is TBD
