Last Sunday, the Holy Spirit revealed God’s presence on the Mountain: Where God Appears Personally! God wants worshippers to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. That means God craves intimacy with each of us. The Mountain is the private place God personally invites us to connect with Him on an intimate level.
Unfortunately, the sad REALITY is that God calls many to the Mountain but few commit to His call. Simply put, like Moses, Peter, James and John, you must be committed to God’s Mission (call) for your life to meet Him on the Mountain. They were committed
before & after their mountain moment. The second step to find God’s presence on the Mountain is to read the right
RESUME! Most people don’t think they can meet God on the Mountain because they are full of shame and feel unworthy! Moses and Peter’s resume before meeting God on the Mountain was full of shameful moments! So, we must understand that it’s not
what’s on our resume before the mountain that matters. It’s being committed to God’s mission in our hearts that matters. After the Mountain, God will rewrite our resume in ways beyond our imagination!

The last step to find God’s presence on the Mountain is to know that the ROCK is the only safe Ground to stand on. God put Moses on the Rock AND inside the Rock.

Then God covered Moses safely when His Glory passed by! When we standi on Christ the Solid Rock, we are protected by God’s Hands we see God as He truly is! That is true intimacy!!!

Looking ahead to this Sunday, we’ll conclude our four-part series focused on finding God in His different dwelling places. Part four is a message titled:

Church: Where God is Found in Fellowship

The God’s presence series will end where God intends for us to be: in Church (the place of harmony and fellowship)! God connects with us personally, but that is just the spark that lights us up with His power and presence. But, like logs thrown on the fire, we burn brightest and best together! We will also focus on the danger to the church’s fire: division! To learn more about the “Church,” please join us this Sunday and be sure to bring a few friends too!

Last Sunday, the Holy Spirit led us directly to God’s presence in:
Eden: Where it All Begins! To find God’s presence in Eden requires us to first find His PEACE. People are the first challenge that must be managed when maintaining our peace. Managing people who disrupt our peace requires us to reconnect to God’s presence when necessary – Get your praise break on!

The second step to find God’s presence in Eden is to operate in God’s purpose so God can send you the right PARTNER! When Adam operated in God’s purpose, God saw it wasn’t good for Adam to be alone. So, God gave Adam rest, made Eve, so those two could be one. When we’re at peace with God and in His purpose, God sends us the right partner (spouses, jobs, friends, etc.) The last step is knowing that God had a PLAN from the beginning! The sacrifice that would cover Adam and Eve’s sin with skin was already present in Eden before they took the forbidden fruit. We can find God’s presence when we are safe and secure in trusting that He’s got a plan. Just know, that when you are down to nothing, God was already up to something good, just for you!

Tabernacle: Where God Leads the Lost

When our sin catches up with us, and we have to face the consequences, we can truly feel lost. After Adam and Eve’s fall in Eden, paradise was lost. This led to God’s people becoming slaves whom God ultimately set free. However, God’s people once again failed to have faith. This led to God directing them to create a tabernacle where they could find Him while lost and wandering in the wilderness. By going back to the tabernacle, we’ll learn that God can always be found, no matter how lost we really are!
